A sweeping arc of deep violet and ivory cuts across the surface with the confidence of a single brushstroke — a gesture that needed no revision. The design was born from the tradition of sumi-e ink painting, where years of practice are distilled into one unrepeatable mark, and where the space around that mark is considered as carefully as the mark itself. Hand-knotted in viscose, the surface carries a depth of sheen that makes the violet appear to shift between blue and purple depending on where the light falls, and the ivory ground seems to glow around it. This is a piece for a room that values the rare quality of knowing exactly what it is.
