White Carrara marble — the stone that furnished the floors of Imperial Rome and the sculptures of the Renaissance — carries its veining in the finest possible lines of pale grey across a near-white ground, the surface appearing almost plain until the light finds it and suddenly every vein is present. Monaco Edition wove this wool and viscose rug with that quality of Carrara in mind: fine branching veins in cool grey across an ivory-white ground, the viscose content adding a natural sheen that makes the surface respond to light the way polished stone does. Both fibres are sustainably sourced and biodegradable. For a bedroom, living room or any interior that values refinement above all else. Available in custom sizes.
