The chalky, mineral-rich surfaces of dry riverbeds in summer — pale teal and dusty grey laid down by water over thousands of years and left visible when the river retreats — carry a quality of quiet colour that few decorative palettes achieve. This Monaco Edition rug, woven in wool and viscose, was drawn from those dried riverbed surfaces: a cool dusty teal ground with the faintest traces of warm pigment scattered across it, the viscose adding a plant-derived sheen that keeps the muted palette from reading as simply flat. Wool and viscose are both natural fibres selected by Monaco Edition for their performance and ecological profile. For a bedroom or living room where the atmosphere is built from restrained, considered choices. Available in custom sizes.
