The textile fragments recovered from Central Asian archaeological sites share a quality that time alone produces — colour softened by centuries into tones more beautiful than they were when new, the original palette revealed as merely the starting point for something richer. This Monaco Edition rug was hand-knotted in silk with that quality as its ambition: warm, dusty tones in a surface that shifts between matte softness and gentle luminosity as the light moves across it. A rug for rooms where the floor is understood as part of the design. Available in custom sizes.
