Coral silk kimono fabric from the Meiji period — woven with botanical motifs in pale ivory and soft sage on a warm coral ground — carries a warmth and a visual generosity that Western textile traditions rarely match. Monaco Edition translated that kimono sensibility into this circular wool rug: coral and pale sage botanical forms on a warm ground, the composition reading as both Eastern textile and contemporary floor art. Natural wool holds the warm palette with a matte depth and is biodegradable, hypoallergenic and sustainably sourced.
