The amber marble of Siena — the Giallo Siena quarried from the hills of Tuscany and used in the floors of Renaissance palaces — carries a palette of warm gold, honey and ivory that has been considered one of the richest natural floor materials in European history. This Monaco Edition rug was hand-knotted in viscose with that Sienese stone as its direct reference: warm amber and gold in sweeping organic veining forms, the viscose pile adding a plant-derived luminosity that makes the warm palette glow. A rug for a dining room, a living space or a bedroom where warmth is the dominant design intention. Available in custom sizes.
