The great mid-century textile designers — among them Alexander Girard, whose fabric collections for Herman Miller ran to hundreds of colourways — understood that colour blocks needed scale and the right material to work on a floor. This Monaco Edition rug, woven in wool and silk, applies that understanding directly: warm amber, terracotta and pale ivory in generous proportions, the silk content giving each field a depth and warmth that pure wool cannot produce alone. A rug for a living room or dining space where colour is handled with confidence and the floor is part of the design conversation. Available in custom sizes.
