The museum collections of ethnographic textiles from the Caucasus, Anatolia and Central Asia hold fragments of flat-weave rugs and kilims in which different geometric vocabularies sit side by side — each piece of a different origin, assembled into a single surface that is richer for its diversity. This Monaco Edition rug, woven in wool and natural cotton, draws from that tradition of the assembled fragment: geometric motifs from different textile cultures placed together across the surface in warm earth tones, the cotton content adding a natural crispness to the wool's warmth. Both fibres are natural, renewable and responsibly sourced. A rug for a living room or dining space where cultural richness is as important as material quality. Available in custom sizes.
