Small symbolic marks — crosses, diamonds, arrows and geometric abstractions — were pressed into clay tablets by Sumerian scribes five thousand years ago as a practical notation system, and discovered to be beautiful long after their meaning was lost. Monaco Edition took that archival grid of symbolic marks as the foundation for this wool rug: a warm beige field carrying a quiet repeat of small geometric symbols, the composition reading as texture from across the room and as individual marks up close. Pure natural wool holds the restrained palette with a matte warmth and is biodegradable, hypoallergenic and sustainably sourced. For a home office, living room or bedroom. Available in custom sizes.
