Pale ivory dissolving at one edge into the faintest suggestion of warm grey — a gradient so restrained that the rug reads as almost white until the light shifts and the transition becomes fully visible. Hand-knotted in wool and silk, this Monaco Edition piece puts all its quality into the making rather than the composition: the density of the hand-knotted pile, the natural luminosity of the silk, the warmth of the wool ground are what the rug offers, and they are more than enough.
