The sky above the Mediterranean in late evening moves through rose, coral and pale ivory in a sequence slow enough to watch and quick enough to miss — a gradient that has been painted, photographed and written about for centuries without anyone fully capturing it. This Monaco Edition rug was hand-knotted in wool and viscose with that particular quality of coastal dusk as its reference: warm rose deepening at the top of the field and dissolving to pale ivory below, the viscose adding a plant-derived sheen that makes the transition glow rather than simply fade.
