The dark version of Monaco Edition's Archive Seal series places a single circular stamp motif on a ground of deep charcoal and soft grey horizontal striations — the composition drawing from the wax seals and official stamps of historical correspondence, where a single mark pressed into dark wax carried authority and identity in one gesture. Woven in natural wool with a surface that holds the fine linework of the seal with real precision, the rug brings a quiet graphic confidence to a room without requiring any surrounding explanation.
