The inspiration came from the narrow passages between rooms in old stone houses — thresholds where a change of light or material divides the space into something more interesting than either side alone, where the transition itself becomes the most alive part of the architecture. This Monaco Edition rug was hand-knotted in wool with that quality of threshold in mind: a deep vertical stripe moving through fields of warm rose and pale sand, a composition that changes the feeling of a room from the moment it is laid. For bedrooms, living rooms and entrance halls. Custom sizes available.
