The working drawings of urban planners from the 1960s and 70s — hand-drafted city grids, zoning maps and infrastructure diagrams done in pencil and fine ink on large sheets of paper — had a graphic quality that was never intended as art and frequently was. This Monaco Edition wool rug takes that visual language as its starting point: a cool grey ground carrying a quiet diagram of lines and forms, with small accents of olive green scattered across the surface like notations added after the main drawing was complete. A rug for a home office, a living room with an architectural interior, or any space that appreciates design thinking applied to the floor. Available in custom sizes.
