The Bauhaus ceramics workshop in the 1920s produced some of the most quietly revolutionary objects of the 20th century — forms reduced to their essential geometry, the circle and the arc treated as complete compositions in themselves rather than starting points for decoration. This Monaco Edition viscose rug was drawn from that philosophy: a warm terracotta arc rising from the lower field against a pale ground, the composition needing nothing else and asking for nothing more. The viscose pile gives the terracotta a soft warmth that shifts with the light through the day. A rug for a bedroom or living room where a single considered gesture is worth more than any elaborate pattern. Available in custom sizes.
