The architects of the mid-20th century De Stijl movement reduced their facades to rectangles of colour separated by precise lines — compositions that carried the confidence of absolute geometric conviction without any recourse to ornament. This Monaco Edition viscose rug applies the same economy to the floor: pale stone and warm grey in a composition of overlapping rectangular planes, a single diagonal accent line crossing the surface with the deliberateness of a structural decision. Viscose is a plant-derived fibre with a naturally smooth surface that holds geometric edges cleanly, ensuring the composition reads with the precision the design requires.
