Aerial photography of desert landscapes reveals a topography of extraordinary subtlety — pale sand and warm stone in tonal bands so close to one another that the differences are felt rather than seen, the whole surface reading as a single warm field until the light shifts and suddenly every layer is distinct. This Monaco Edition viscose rug was developed from those aerial studies: a surface of warm ivory, pale sand and soft taupe in gradual transitions, the viscose pile adding a natural sheen that keeps the restrained palette alive through different times of day. A rug for a bedroom or living space where warmth and calm are the design goals. Available in custom sizes.
