Some of the most beautiful objects in ethnographic museum collections are the smallest — fragments of ancient textile or fired clay where time has done its work and left a surface more interesting than the original. Monaco Edition approached this wool rug with exactly that quality of the worn relic in mind: a pale organic form in warm ivory and soft sand on a cream ground, the surface reading as something recovered rather than designed, carrying a warmth that comes from the material rather than from colour. Pure wool is biodegradable, naturally thermoregulating and sustainably sourced. For a bedroom or living room. Available in custom sizes.
