The smooth river pebbles found on gravel beaches — rounded by water over millennia into forms that are each slightly different yet entirely at ease beside one another — produce, when collected together, a surface of organic warmth that no designed pattern replicates. This Monaco Edition wool rug draws from that beach pebble quality: organic rounded forms in blush, warm ivory, dusty rose and pale grey scattered across a cream ground with the naturalness of something deposited rather than placed.
