The ceramic vessels produced in the studio pottery movement of the 1960s and 70s often featured two or three overlapping forms — rounded, soft-edged shapes pressed gently together in a glaze palette of warm pink, grey and ivory, the relationship between the forms doing all the compositional work. This Monaco Edition wool rug translates that sensibility directly to the floor: soft rounded forms in warm blush and pale grey overlapping across an ivory field, the internal texture of each form adding depth to what is already a resolved composition. Pure wool is naturally hypoallergenic, biodegradable and thermoregulating — the right material for a bedroom or living room. Available in custom sizes.
