The studio ceramicists who worked in California during the 1960s and 70s built their most enduring pieces from two or three overlapping forms — rounded shapes in warm rose, ivory and amber pressed gently together in glazes that pooled differently in each firing. This Monaco Edition wool rug takes that ceramic sensibility directly to the floor: soft disc forms in warm terracotta, blush and pale ivory sitting beside one another on a cream ground, their edges relaxed and their relationships considered. Pure natural wool carries the warm palette with a matte depth that suits the organic quality of the design, and it is naturally biodegradable and sustainably sourced. A rug for a bedroom, living room or any space that values warmth over formality. Available in custom sizes.
