When the designers of the 1960s began softening the corners of rectangular forms, they discovered that a small geometric change produced a large emotional shift — that a rounded block felt approachable in a way a hard-edged one never did. This Monaco Edition wool rug explores exactly that: soft-cornered fields of pale sage, warm yellow, dusty blue and ivory arranged in a composition that is structured but never rigid.
