The artist Wassily Kandinsky spent years studying the emotional relationships between abstract forms — how a circle placed beside a rectangle produced a different feeling than either form alone, and how colour within those forms could amplify or soften that effect. This Monaco Edition wool rug was developed in that spirit: overlapping circular and organic forms in warm terracotta, teal, ivory and gold across a pale ground, the composition energetic and balanced at the same time. Natural wool is among the most ecologically responsible luxury fibres available — renewable, biodegradable and naturally resilient — and it carries a broad palette with a warmth that no synthetic alternative produces.
