The patchwork quilts assembled by American women in the 19th century — each square of fabric cut from a worn garment or a remnant of something older — were records of domestic life assembled into objects of real beauty, the geometric grid giving order to a surface made entirely from fragments of personal history. This Monaco Edition rug, woven in wool and natural cotton, takes that grid logic and applies it to a floor: geometric motifs in warm earth tones, each field different from its neighbour, the cotton content adding natural crispness to the wool's warmth. Both fibres are renewable and biodegradable. For a living room or dining space where warmth and cultural depth matter equally. Available in custom sizes.
