Wassily Kandinsky's late work — the concentric circles and organic forms of his Paris years — was described by critics as painting that had learned to breathe. The forms sat on their grounds with the ease of something that had always been there, the colour relationships so resolved that the compositions appeared inevitable. Monaco Edition drew from that late Kandinsky quality for this circular wool rug: a deep midnight orbital form containing warm amber and charcoal, the concentric composition sitting on a pale ground with exactly that quality of settled inevitability. Pure wool is biodegradable and sustainably sourced. For a bedroom or living room. Available in custom sizes.
