The biomorphic sculptures of Jean Arp — smooth, rounded forms in marble and bronze that suggested living organisms without representing any of them specifically — were among the most influential objects of the 20th century, demonstrating that an abstract form could carry the same warmth as a figurative one. This Monaco Edition viscose rug was drawn from that tradition: soft organic forms in warm ivory, pale sage and muted taupe moving across the surface with the ease of something shaped by hand rather than by rule. The viscose pile adds a natural warmth to the pale palette. A rug for a living room or bedroom. Available in custom sizes.
