Hand-knotted in pure natural wool with a fringe at each end that records the loom on which it was made, this Monaco Edition rug was drawn from the minimalist textile tradition of the 1970s, when weavers like Lenore Tawney and Sheila Hicks began treating the loom's structural elements as part of the finished work rather than something to be hidden. A warm ivory ground with a subtle woven texture and honest hand-knotted fringe — a rug that is entirely itself, making no claims beyond the quality of its making. Wool is biodegradable, naturally thermoregulating and sustainably sourced. For a bedroom or living space where simplicity is understood as the highest form of quality. Available in custom sizes.
