Pointillist painters of the late 19th century discovered that colour placed as small separate marks reads more vividly to the eye than the same colour applied in a continuous field — the optical mixing that happens at a distance producing a warmth and vibrancy that no blended surface could match. This Monaco Edition wool rug was drawn from that discovery: small dots of warm tone scattered across a pale ivory ground in a pattern that reads as texture from across the room and as individual marks up close. The wool pile is dense and soft, the surface warm and entirely liveable. A rug for bedrooms, living rooms and any space that benefits from gentle pattern without visual weight.
