The inspiration came from Josef Albers, the Bauhaus painter who spent decades placing colour fields beside one another to study how each one transforms in the presence of its neighbour — how amber warms when set against navy, how cream expands when given space. This Monaco Edition rug translates that quiet obsession into a floor piece: generous blocks of warm gold, deep blue and natural ivory in viscose that adds a living lustre to every tone.
