Mid-century Japanese graphic designers working in the 1960s built some of their most enduring posters from a single circle placed precisely within a rectangular field — the relationship between the form and the ground carrying all the meaning the composition needed. Monaco Edition took that same compositional discipline for this wool rug: a large warm circle in deep cocoa and warm sand, crossed by fine parallel lines, sitting on a pale ivory ground. Pure natural wool holds the warm earth palette with a matte depth that suits a living room, bedroom or home office. Biodegradable, thermoregulating and sustainably sourced. Available in custom sizes.
