Hand-knotting a classical medallion rug requires a level of sustained precision that no other textile technique demands — each knot placed individually across a field that may contain millions of them, the symmetry maintained over months of work without any mechanical assistance. Monaco Edition produces this ivory wool medallion rug in exactly that tradition: a fine central medallion in pale ivory on a near-white ground, the composition visible through tonal variation in the wool pile rather than through colour contrast.
