Wassily Kandinsky spent years studying the emotional relationships between simple geometric forms — how a circle feels different from a square, how the distance between two shapes changes what each one means. This Monaco Edition wool rug was made in that spirit: a composition of circular forms in warm terracotta and soft sage on a pale ground, each shape placed in relation to the others with a care that makes the whole surface feel settled and alive at the same time.
