The working drawings produced in architectural studios during the early modernist period — pencil and ink on cream paper, layers of revision visible beneath the final lines — had a quality of accumulated thought that finished buildings rarely retained. This Monaco Edition rug, woven in wool and viscose, draws from those layered drawings: a pale ground carrying a composition of overlapping geometric forms in warm grey and ivory, the viscose content adding a thread of sheen through the matte wool base. Wool and viscose are both natural fibres selected by Monaco Edition for their performance and ecological credentials. A rug for a home office or living room where design thinking is part of the interior. Available in custom sizes.
