The ancient stone walls of the Levant — limestone and basalt worn by centuries of sun and salt wind to a surface of extraordinary tonal complexity, warm ivory and cool grey sitting in layers that no paint could replicate — were the starting point for this Monaco Edition rug, woven in wool and bamboo silk. The warm neutral ground carries a composition of aged surface marks and subtle tonal shifts, the bamboo silk adding a natural luminosity through the wool base that gives the pale palette a depth photographs cannot fully capture. Bamboo silk is sustainably produced and naturally lustrous without synthetic treatment. For a bedroom or living room where material quality is the first conversation. Available in custom sizes.
